WELCOME TO SEVENTH GRADE  2008-2009 AT LMS!!!!!

We have had a great start to the year.  I think this is one of the best group of students I've ever taught.  I am eager to learn more about my students as the weeks progress so that I may best meet their needs.  I encourage parents to have high expectations for their child, especially in the areas of attendance and completion of all work.  PLEASE call if you have any concerns or email me.  My planning period is from 7:50 until 8:35 daily.  The school phone number is 359-1265.  If you have an email address, please email me(see bottom of this page) with any concerns and I will get back with you.  Sometimes that is more effective than phone calls.


Our class rules are as follows:

1. Be prepared. Be ON TIME and have ALL MATERIALS. 
2. Be respectful of everyone around you, teachers and students.  Do not touch anyone, do not call anyone a name that is disrespectful, and do not touch another person's belongings.
3. Be neat.  Keep trash picked up and be organized.
4. Follow directions the first time they are given.


Consequences of not following these rules may include:  writing off of  photosynthesis equation or vocabulary words and definitions, paddling, or in-school suspension.

Students who fight, cuss, or throw objects in my class room will be sent to the office immediately.



All students need to bring to class each day:  notebook for that subject, agenda, book, and homework. Failure to come prepared may result in having write-offs or morning detention.

During the year, if you have extra funds, our class could use colored copy paper or kleenex.  We use it almost every week.
