During the first few weeks of school we will be discussing how the first people came to America and why. This will lead into the first colonies established on the continent and how they functioned. We will then learn how our ancestors decided to become an independent country. GRADING weights Grading Scale Chapter Tests = 30% A= 93-100 Homework = 25% B= 85-92 Classwork = 25% C= 75-84 9 Weeks Test = 20% D= 70-74 100% F= 0-69 Each 9 weeks you can expect to have anywhere from four to six chapter tests. You usually will have only one or two Unit Tests each 9 weeks. You can also expect to have anywhere from ten to fifteen daily grades. Each 9 weeks we will have only one 9 weeks test.
